My meaning was the 50Hz notching drop can't be found when playing music.But
not equal to the low frequency roll off from 50Hz.I don't need to listen the
same music at other place (I just need a good headphone to compare).Indeed we
hard to find the place without the standing wave and deep drop valley except
dead sound test room.The different is my home acoustic curve is +8db at 40Hz
but other room may be + 10db at 35Hz.Adjacent the standing frequency it must
have a deep drop valley due to wave cancellation. PS:The deep drop notching
frequency can't be and don't be needed to cover by equalizer.If you do that it
will easily over drive your woofer and cause other problem.I willing the drop
frequency is 40Hz instead of 50Hz so it affect the music become less....

TO DON 音響器材的製造者在微調時,一定要用耳朵.因為人耳的敏感不是機器可以相比的.
以我的經驗,當我用等化器把響應頻率調的最平直時,往往出來的音樂不能聽.問題在於設儀
器能測量到的單位對耳朵來說仍然誤差太大了. 頻率是可以測量的,但是音樂是不可測量
的.

假如你在自己環境中聽不出50Hz不足對音樂有甚麼差別.那麼你不妨將同樣的音樂在50Hz充
分的環境中放一放.回家後再聽,你就知道差別在哪裡了.

Agreed! I had reproduced down to 25Hz in home by MUSE 18 subwoofer.Yes, many
music don't need that.I measured my home have + 8 db standing wave at 40~42Hz
but with -10 db drop at 50Hz.So flat low frequency curve below 100Hz in home
condition is impossible whatever your SPK can play or by positioning.I also
can't find a deep drop at 50Hz when listening music.I used test record and
signal generator to check the low frequency curve.I am doubt why some reviewer
can said the testing SPK can play down to ?? Hz compare with the spec.....

我的DITB在電源供應上小做改變，買不到原廠的power station，只好將就點找個Lamba的
拆船貨，花了一千大洋搞定，比原廠附的小變壓器(感覺像給隨身聽用的)好多了，音場較
凝聚底盤也較穩。

Mr. Liu is chief editor of Audio Art.
From my own experience, it will not irritate you listening to music if you can
not hear 20~40Hz, that is why there are so many bookself speakers that are all
so popular. But, if your listening room allows 20~40Hz to be
reproduced "clearly" without standing wave problem, you are a lucky guy. Enjoy
the music. Because even with speakers respond only to 60Hz (3dB), you still
get good sound from your stereo (unless your system sucks, just joking).
Do not trust reviewers all the time, I guess sometimes they have pressure (or
they naive).

關於DITB這我有經驗 只要換一條稍好的(同軸)數位輸出線即可 亦可用較好的普通訊號線
代替 建議拿幾條手邊有的訊號線一一試用比較
還有電源也會影響聲音 若買不到原廠昇級用的PowerStation電源 可買台最便宜的Castle
電源濾靜器 注意接地與插頭方向 應可容易獲得令人滿意的聲音 光纖輸出我則沒試過
我以前用佑昇買的一種很細的高純度銅線自製訊號線當數位線連接CD63與DITB得到很圓潤
甜美又音場開闊的好聲 加上CD63原有的強解析 結果很令人滿意 比CD63原偏尖硬的聲音明
顯好很多 現在即使昇級仍將DITB留著 王兄不仿試試

Maybe DITB is not so good as you expected? Philips CD players usually have a
reasonable performance (eventhough they may not be as good as some exotic hi-
end players). If DITB is not doing anything good, why using it?
To powerman and Frankly:
I think Mr. Liu uses soundspeed @25^C equals to 340m/s to calculate standing
wave. Normally if there is 80Hz standing wave, it is hard to hear the sound
with frequency below 80Hz. But the speaker itself can still reproduce the
sound. Only your ears can not (or your brain do not want) to hear it. The
above is my own experience and comment, not Mr. Liu's.

的空間是“120sp”？(這是什麼單位？) 兩千元台幣好像只能買電腦多媒體用的 sub-
woofer (或者說「低音」比較恰當，而不是「超低音」).....如果你想買真正的超低音，
COSTCO 有賣一組美國牌主動式100W 8 吋紙盆單體超低音才四千元。(我本來想買一對或兩
對擺成超低柱來聽音樂、看電影的。可是，空間的關係吧， 調那個超低音，量少了沒啥感
覺，量多了，又把自己攪得惡心想吐。每一片 CD、DVD 低音又都錄得不一樣，這片搞好了
另一片又不行，滿難玩的.....

上個周未去做秋游攝影時﹐心裡一直還在想VISUALIZE的問題。
以前在拍得懵懵懂懂的時候我也曾買了個數位相機﹐想拍好了就留住﹐不好則刪除。
WELL﹐ IT DOESNT WORK OUT THAT WAY。真正的攝影不是沖鋒槍式的﹐而像是在玩 狙擊
槍﹐一槍一准﹐打一槍換一地兒。這次我一共才拍了80來張底片﹐每次要花一 分鐘左右取
景､測光。哈蘇觀景器真是像看三維立體鏡子一樣明亮清楚。我看到了 秋葉的憂傷､流水
的歡暢﹐包圍著我的是一片寧靜﹐物我合一﹐與大自然的TOTAL CONNECTION。難怪志摩要
說﹕在康橋的柔波裡我願作一棵水草。
適之對志摩說﹐你看到的月亮和你心中的月亮﹐那是兩個月亮。同樣﹐你眼裡的風 景和取

TO YH 買的時候,有注意TFK管底上四方形標示,只是現在 感覺離理想落差太大.所以也會懷
疑是否買到假貨, 網路曾傳言有DIAMOND MARK並不一定是真
TFK 12AX7到底是什麼聲音因,我不知道,因第一次使用,原是使用MULLARD 管子,兩者比較
MULLARD多汁多味.TFK 該高音不高,低一音又軟叭叭,索然無味.

Sometimes it takes longer than you expected. It took me one month to run
Siemens ECC88 (total hour over 50). But if your 12AX7 is a quack, then just
forget about it.
By the way, did you check if your tube has Telefunken diamond mark at buttom?
I heard some East Europe companies make tubes that print whatever you want on
the glass. They are NOT in the same class as Telefunken. You might want to
check it out.

Hello,
I found that most of the bass are output by the center speaker rather than
from the subwoofer. My testing DVD are dts version of Eagles and Santana
Supernatural live. I heard the Eagles DVD in audio shop, where I bought the
subwoofer. The subwoofer seems output most of the bass. Is there anything
related to my amplifier, which is Onkyo 595.

各位前輩，在下有機會新建一客廳+聽音室，尺寸為3.9M*7.2M*2.9M（寬長高）且兩面是半
開敞。由於銀彈有限又喜歡全音域欣賞音樂，所以打算先將喇叭和後級做到位，前級先用
臺灣產NAD302頂著，CD先用DVD頂著。在朋友家聽過JBL4408A+CROWN 460SL
（145W/CHANNEL 8 OM）+AVANCE喇叭線，覺得聲音中性直接飽滿，似有潛力可挖（他的
4408買得真便宜——RMB3900）。所以想試試大哥4412（三分頻12寸低音單元），不知在上
述環境中低頻是否會夠？風聞TIK系列很好可惜超出錢彈射程。又不知4344MKII,4312MKII
和4408A比怎樣？ 有時也覺得自己老是JBL來JBL去，太過分了。但實在是個想聽全音域表
現的窮人，我的眼界是否太狹窄啦？或是HI-FI觀有問題？ 擬元旦去廣州海印轉轉，順利
的話就購機了。
