利落层次分明有条理，密度高质感强、宽松自然、动态凌厉、音场开阔场面庞大震撼，节
奏乐感好，精准失真率低音乐还原度高，爆炸力强，动静佳宜。
TAD（Technical Audio Devices）是于1975年成立的一家美国公司，最初是由几名JBL工程
师成立的，后来因为经营不善濒临倒闭，是先锋注资才挽救了TAD。与收购不一样的是，先
锋仍然由TAD原班人马来运作这个品牌,就算生产地改在日本，血统都是美国的TAD。在当初
模拟音频时代即将终结之时，JBL已经开始大幅走下坡路，监听帝王的风光不在，销量直线
下降。在这种情况下，JBL却没有表现出任何进取的迹象。在极度失望之下，几名JBL工程
师为了自己的理想——也就是当年JBL创始人的理想，创立了TAD。TAD致力于为录音棚开发
超低失真，并且能够满足任何苛刻要求的监听级扬声器/音响。1979年TAD喇叭单元首先向
国际市场推出，1981年日本本土正式开售。1983年Pioneer以旗舰品牌Exclusive推出
Model 2401Twin喇叭，使用了两只TAD TL1601a(40cm)低音单元与一只TD4001/TH4001大型
木质号角高音，这是为录音室需求而接单生产的，最大音压可达126dB，各音域都具有逼人
的气势与刻画入微的音质表现，而且在很宽阔的聆听范围内都有定位鲜明的音像，TAD单元
因此一炮而红。
由于TAD单元采用手工制作，所以产量极少，价格也是相当的昂贵。TAD的一位工程师木下
正三自立门户，以Ray Audio为品牌推出Kinoshita系列专业监听扬声器，大概是世界上最
贵的产品之一了。美国Westlake（西湖）、意大利Zingali（号令）等著名厂商也使用TAD
单元，TAD在专业领域拥有崇高的地位。
TAD的不但喇叭贵，而且稀有的东西多，很多都是可遇不可求的物品，比如开头那对儿TSM-
1音箱，就是TAD的经典之作。目前已经停产，很多人想要却不可得。这套喇叭的经典在于
不但采用了TAD顶级的扬声器，并且箱体也是 TAD特制的，并且在高音加了一个号角。由于
TAD和JBL的渊源，因此这号角设计也是深得JBL的真传。这些因素加起来，却不敌一个更重
要的因素——这东西停产了！也就是说有钱你也买不到！正因为稀有，所以才是可遇不可
求的High-end极品，或许这也是High-End精神的一种吧，当然公认的Hih-End精神就是无以
伦比的贵了。
The speaker system which took in the vertical twin system as a system which
uses the unit which inherited the design concept of Technical Aucio Devices
(TAD), and pulls out the potential of this unit.
In S5, the vertical twin system which allotted the Woofer up and down focusing
on the horn is adopted.
In this system, since the sound energy of two Woofers concentrates in the
center and it is [ axis top of a horn ] in agreement, from a bass region to
upper register serves as a virtual coaxial centering on a horn, and a feeling
of a lateralization of an image is raised.
Furthermore, it excels in the horizontal directivity and the special features -
- a crisp bass can be obtained by the speed of the response of a Woofer --
have been acquired.
Two newly developed 25cm cone type Woofers are carried in low-pass.
The linearity which does not lose a balance from the small sound volume to the
Dainyuu power is secured by combining lightweight vibration system with the
magnetic circuit using an AlNiCo-Magnet. Furthermore, the balance at the time
of the minute sound volume made difficult until now by having raised the
initial shock sensitivity of an oscillating supporting system thoroughly is
improved.

newly developed wood horn is adopted. The acer mono excellent in the tone is
used for the quality of the material, it is finished by handmade, and high-

line is direct given to the interconnection of a network part and a unit. Even

especially a Woofer unit is using a circuitry for exclusive use to each

coil or a product-line code, and taking oscillating measures against each
material or a code,The vibration and the resonance are controlled, and
further, also in consideration of the product line, the input to the network
has taken the direct radial power-feeding scheme with which a signal is
transmitted uniformly so that the crosstalk of each element and a product-line
code may not have an ill effect.
It adheres also to the quality of the material of the enclosure thoroughly,
and others used the walnut for the top plate and the baffle board upper
portion for the bird's-eye maple , and oil stain finish is given to it.
A structure adopts the elliptic curve round baffle which is a Tallboy type
floor type and draws an arc on a baffle board greatly, and is reducing a
reflection of sound and diffraction phenomena.
Furthermore, in order to prevent an oscillation of each unit interfering each
other by a baffle, and making sound muddy, absent-resonance-ization is
attained because are fixing all the units firmly by mid ship mounting and also
a shielding frame and the floating top also give.
The speaker terminal supports the bi-wiring interconnection which separates a
high region and low-pass circuitry and carries out an independent power
feeding, respectively, and the short bar is equipped so that the using by
usual one can also be performed.
